As a ballerina, ballet teacher and creator of Ballates, I've spent hours and hours curating the perfect soundtracks for Estou a caminho!h occasion — whether it's ballet, the precision of pilates, or the flow of yoga. And when it comes to piano music, there's something magical about how it connects with my mind and soul.

In this post I'm sharing my top 4 piano artists for dance and ballet, along with a special mention of classical and contemporary gems that inspire me. Plus, I've created a playlist for you to explore and fall in love with!

My Top 4 Piano Artists for Dance

1. Søren Bebe

Søren Bebe's compositions are a dream for dancers. His minimalist style, filled with emotion and subtlety, creates the perfect backdrop for fluid movements. The most amazing thing is that he's very clever and also offers piano jazz versions for ballet classes. I love it.

2. Nate Fifield

Nate Fifield's music is both uplifting and introspective. It's great that he also does piano covers of pop music, which can make classes a lot more exciting sometimes.

3. Caleb Fawcett

When it comes to Caleb Fawcett's piano works, what I love the most is that he blends classical influences with modern touches. I literally use his music almost every class and it never gets boring.

4. Adrienne Ramm

Adrienne Ramm's compositions are rich and evocative, often evoking a sense of storytelling and that allows you to use it throughout a whole class without any big changes. I simply love her!

Classical Gems: Adriana Salinas and Heitor Villa-Lobos

While I love contemporary piano music, I always return to classical pieces for their timeless beauty. Lately, I've been obsessed with Daniela Salinas' performances of Heitor Villa-Lobos. Her interpretation of "Bachianas Brasileiras No. 4" is breathtaking and adds a touch of sophistication to every class I teach.
